316NOW at the Christian Leadership Experience

316NOW at the Christian Leadership Experience

316NOW was pleased to be an exhibitor at the Christian Leadership Experience January 6-8, 2017.  Hundreds of Christian leaders from around the country and, predominately, from around the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod were in attendance.  What a privilege to share the story of our ministry with those leaders.

One of our 316NOW representatives commented, “We had many good conversations. We all felt quite good about the reactions that we received as people heard more about 316NOW.  A priority for us was recruiting teachers to help with our English as a foreign language program for children in China. A number of new teachers will result from our time at the conference.”

Conference speakers

The conference provided attendees with an array of high quality speakers. Among the nationally known speakers were:

  • Rebecca Kleefisch, Wisconsin’s Lieutenant Governor.
  • Tom Osbourne, football coaches at the University of Nebraska, a three congressman in the US House of Representatives, and Athletics Director at the University of Nebraska.
  • Susan Marshall, consultant to many large companies, including Harley-Davidson, Best Buy, GE Healthcare, GM, Subaru, the New York City Leadership Academy, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and author of “How to Grow a Backbone: 10 Strategies for Gaining Power and Influence at Work.”
  • Todd Gongwer, an expert in leadership and cultural dynamics. He is the founder of Kardia Transformation Group, and the non-profit organization LEAD23. He is the author of LEAD...for God's Sake.
