One of our online Bible institute’s faculty members has this to share about his students.
There’s an amazing depth to their questions.
Like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), my students are hungry to learn more about the Bible. When I answer their questions, they are never satisfied if I quote the Bible passage. They always insist that I give the reference so they can look it up themselves.
They are grateful for the instruction they receive and for solid, Biblical answers to questions. I think in our denomination we are spoiled. We assume our pastors will provide Bible-based teaching that demonstrates spiritual depth and insight. Apparently my students have not experienced that in their churches. They are thrilled to find it in our courses.
