Where does support for 316NOW come from?
Christians from throughout the United States donate both money and expertise so that the ministry of 316NOW can flourish. 316NOW is a non-profit (non-governmental) organization. It is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charity so gifts to support 316NOW are tax-deductible. We receive no funds from any denomination’s budget.

Does 316NOW have a lot of overhead costs that take funds away from its ministry?
316NOW runs an exceptionally lean ministry because of the generosity of our many volunteer teachers and staff. For example, we have over 30 volunteers who donate more than 250 hours each month to teach our online courses. In addition, our administrators, committee members, and board members volunteer several hundred hours each month. We strive to stretch every dollar to maximize its impact.

How can my congregation or Lutheran school schedule a presentation?
316NOW desires to provide congregations, church groups, and Lutheran schools with information about our ministry. Our presentations come in a variety of lengths. Depending on a church’s technology, our presenters may use PowerPoint presentations, videos, Skype, or paper handouts.

How can I get involved in the ministry of 316NOW?
Our Bible institute seeks to teach its core courses at a college level. We are always interested in learning about qualified volunteers who are interested in becoming part of our faculty. Please contact us if you wish to be considered for a faculty position or if you have someone to suggest for a faculty position. We also have ministry needs in specialized areas. Those areas change as positions are filled or our ministry expands. For example, we currently have a need for people with experience in website maintenance, social media, writing, and videography. If you can help us with those needs or if you have a skill that you think could assist our ministry let us know. Email us at 316NOW@316NOW.org or write us at P.O. How can my Chinese friends register for 316NOW’s online training?
