Marriage and family ministry

Marriage and family health in modern China needs medicine that only God’s grace can provide.

“Families in China are in horrible shape for a variety of cultural reasons,” our executive director says. “We believe that sharing God's plan for families and marriages will strengthen Christian homes and provide opportunities to share the gospel in China.”

When this part of our ministry to China is fully implemented,

• Pastors will have courses on marriage and family to teach in their churches.

• Christians will have a toolbox of resources to help them build Christ-centered homes and grace-centered marriages.

• The gospel will spread through communities as families discover churches where God’s grace has produced caring and supportive homes.

• Churches will have more leaders who model for their members how a Christian family functions.

• More mature church leaders will be in a position to become Confessional Lutheran leaders in China.

We are pleased that a highly qualified team of men and women has helped to develop this program. They are educators, family ministers, and pastors. The team includes Chinese Christians who are Confessional Lutherans.
