Bible Institute leader at home with Jesus

Our 316NOW family is celebrating the eternal victory of one of our Bible institute leaders. At the age of 66, Pastor Dave won his battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 18, when he was welcomed into heaven. 

Pastor Dave served as a faculty member of our Bible institute, contributed study materials to our  curriculum, and served on our institute’s leadership team.   

One of 316NOW’s board members writes, “Our brother will be greatly missed.  His love for the gospel and faithful use of his gifts for sharing it are a beautiful testimony to God’s grace and goodness. And now Dave is seeing Jesus face to face.” A fellow Bible institute leader writes, “As we worked together, it became obvious what a gifted teacher and communicator of God’s Word he was. He will be dearly missed by all of us.” 

We thank God for Pastor Dave’s impact on our ministry, but we are even more grateful for the ways the Spirit has impacted the ministries of Christian leaders in China through him.  We find joy that, through Jesus, Dave is now resting from his labors and his deeds are following him (Revelation 14:13). We look forward to seeing him again ... along with countless Chinese believers who have been strengthened through his ministry.
