MINISTRY// Students win preaching honors

316NOW’s students have won awards for their preaching ability.

Their local Christian council sponsored a preaching competition for all the pastors in their area. Three of our students came away with honors.

One of those pastors says, “My [Bible institute] teacher told me, ‘Be sure you make the gospel the center of your sermon.’ I am so thankful to my professors for their years of teaching and help. From them we learned how to apply the precious teaching of law and gospel in our sermons. That’s why our sermons were different than all the others.”
