MINISTRY//Professor impressions
We asked our Bible institute pastors for their impressions of their students. They told us:
Students can’t thank me enough for what I share with them. They overflow with appreciation. They must hear little gospel.
My students have eagerness to listen and hear what the Bible says. They are more ready to hear Scriptures than people here.
I am amazed at the joy students have to be taught.
I am impressed with how well versed some of the women in my classes are.
I rejoice to see how the Word of God has taken effect on these souls.
I would like students to ask more questions so we can have more discussion. Chinese usually aren't comfortable asking questions in class for fear of causing the teacher to lose face.
My student express honest love and thanks for me that I would take time to teach them. Translators bring up more in-depth questions and comments. I appreciate that.
I am struck by the courage it takes to be a Christian in China.
Our Bible institute professors are blessed by teaching church leaders in China. But they are also learn from their students' challenges to their faith and their bold practice of their faith.
What you can do: Pray for our students. They face challenges we American Christians never encounter. Pray for our professors. Their teaching is strengthening and growing the Church in China. Finally, tap here to support this ministry.
