MINISTRY // Prayers for a key leader
316NOW asks for your prayers for Pastor Jim Radloff, his wife, and his family.
Pastor Radloff has entered hospice after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Pastor Radloff has been a key leader at 316NOW for a decade. Over the last three years, he has developed our English as a foreign language (EFL) program. 316NOW uses EFL to teach Bible stories and share the message of grace in Jesus with 9-to-15-year-olds in China. Enrollment in this program has sky-rocketed from zero 18 months ago to over 200 today.
His pastor, Daron Lindemann, wrote on February 9:
Pastor Jim Radloff has been battling cancer, and, through it all, his faith and his wife’s faith in Jesus has inspired us. God is keeping their faith strong, but Jim's body is becoming weak.
Yesterday he was taken to the hospital because he's not able to eat and drink in a way that supports his body's needs to function. Today he entered hospice care, as his family seeks to make him as comfortable as possible during what would seem to be his last days, with no more treatment options.
Jesus is there. We can be, too. Please keep Jim and Joyce in your prayers.
Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing (2 Timothy 4:8 ).
