NEWS//Beijing's tallest tower
Beijing has many remarkable, modern high-rise towers. The China Zun Tower, completed in 2018, ranks at the top. It is Beijing's tallest building and the sixth tallest building in China.
Zun’s dimensions
China Zun Tower measures 1732 feet high. Compare that to New York's One World Trade Center at 1,776 feet tall or Dubai's Burj Khalifa at 2,722 feet tall. The Zun Tower is the world's tenth tallest building.
A zun wine vessel
The building is popularly called China Zun, because of its shape. A zun is ancient bronze ceremonial vessel. Officially the building is the CITIC Tower. CITIC stands for China International Trust Investment Corporation.
Transportation to Zun
The tower connects to the underground transportation network that spanning Beijing's Central Business District. The network includes underground passageways that link other major buildings. These passageways are lined with retail stores. The tower also connects to three subway stations.
