MINISTRY//Prayer in the morning
Does your congregation do this?
Many of the churches 316NOW’s students serve have groups that meet for prayer.
One of our friends in China who visited the church of several students in our Bible institute reported this. “Some members — including 316NOW students — go to church every morning for prayer. They meet from 5:30-6:30 am. I attended once. They prayed for many things (including 316NOW’s ministry). They spent much time asking God to protect their minister and their church. Keeping God’s people save was more important in their prayers than whatever might happened to God’s temple.”
What you can do: Add your prayers for the safety of Chinese Christians and their sharing the gospel in their communities. Praying at 5:30 am is optional <smile>.
