It's a JOY (a capital letter JOY) to see evidence of the Spirit working through 316NOW.

One of the groups 316NOW works with has members who all attend our Bible institute classes. That, of course, includes all of the group's leaders. What a blessing for a church to have so many of its members on the same page theologically.

When these members have issues with understanding something the Bible institute leaders teach, they turn to those professors for help. When they don't know how to teach a concept, they turn to our professors. When they need advice on leading their church, they turn to our professors.

Their preaching pastor has no seminary training. He has learned how to study the Scriptures from our professors. He has learned to write his sermons from our professors. He has learned to present his sermons from our pastors. He is gaining a reputation in his area as the pastor who clearly proclaims God's grace in Jesus.

What you can do: Thank the Spirit for the powerful ways he works through the Word. Pray for this group, especially its leaders, as they continue to grow toward Confessional Lutheranism. Pray for our ministry every day. Tap here for a prayer guide.
