15 Days of Prayer

316NOW’s 15 Days of Prayer effort begins on January 25 and runs through February 8. Tap here for prayer suggestions for each of those 15 days.

One of our Bible institute students, who also translates for our professors, meets with a group of Christians who are mostly university professors and intellectuals. (We'll call her Gui.) Here's a description of one of those meetings. It was written by the assistant to our administrative team who has traveled in China for us since last fall.

They are all deep thinkers. We had a valuable discussion on some critical theological issues. Gui is '“worried” about how best to tell them the benefits of Lutheran theology. But she has been doing a great job on this ministry.

We also spent lots time meeting with group members individually. We listened to their thoughts about their personal beliefs and, for many, their internal struggles.

Pray for these deep thinkers. May God guide their understanding of his truth and prepare them to help many fully to know the salvation that is ours in Jesus Christ.
