MINISTRY//Thank you, professors

Before Easter, one of our longtime students in China wrote to us to thank our Bible institute professors for teaching him. This student has no formal training in ministering to a congregation outside of the courses he has taken with 316NOW. With the help of one of our professors, he prepares a sermon each week and leads a small group of Christians in worship. This is his letter:

Greetings, shepherds! Peace in the Lord! May God bless you! May he bless you with peace and joy.

Thanks and praise to the Lord! Because of the Lord’s love, we have become a family in Christ. The Lord also helps our family through our professors. You not only give us spiritual help but also help us to live each day.

How good to know that the Lord is always aware of our weaknesses, yet always gives us faith and strength. We thank the Lord for his grace and we thank you professors for teaching us about his grace!

I see the love of Christ in you pastors! This love is inclusive, compassionate, comforting, gracious, understanding, and helpful! Thank you all!

You motivate us to place our hope in God’s grace, to want a strengthen our faith, to love God, to love our neighbors, and to spread the power of the Lord’s resurrection. We always thank the Lord for this!
