MINISTRY//#PrayingTuesdayNOW

#PrayingTuesdayNOW is the day 316NOW is encouraging its friends and supporters to give special attention to prayer. The date is May 5. There are endless issues to pray about. 316NOW suggests a special focus on three.

The pandemic

COVID-19 has done everything from disrupting to shattering lives of people across our nation — and the world. Pay for more than their health and security. Ask our Father to use the pandemic to alert the nearly 400 million in the U.S. and the seven billion on the planet to his grace in Jesus.

The Church

Prayers for our congregations are also important. Previously unknown stressors are impacting churches and their members. At the same time, the Spirit is providing previously unknown opportunities to share the gospel with more souls.

316NOW

316NOW’s grace across China NOW mission desires your prayers.

  • Prayers of thanksgiving that our online teaching ministry has not been hampered by the pandemic. We see nearly 200 online students each week. God has kept our professors healthy.

  • Prayers that the Spirit tears down barriers to proclaiming his grace in China. China is extending its control of Christian churches. After not sending teachers to China last fall, we look forward to having teachers in China this fall.

  • Prayers that our new programs to help Chinese Christians teach children gospel truth and to build strong Christian families have a beneficial impact on millions.
