MINISTRY//Joy in grace

In one city in China, 18 church leaders recently completed 316NOW's course on  God's purposes for the law and gospel. One of those students told us:

This course is really wonderful. God’s grace changed me from a guilty believer to a joyful and grateful believer. It meant so much to me when I've learned that I has been a child loved by God all the time, not under his severe criticism every day.

This was the most unforgettable moment of joy since I became a Christian！

Because of this class, I am released in truth! I am joyful in the grace of Jesus Christ! I realized the joy of serving in grace is a completely different mood.

My previous service in the law often made me feet pressured and I even wanted to escape from the service. I felt that the more I served, the more problems I had and the more guiltiness I felt. But now I'm a happy Christian because of God’s grace!

Throughout Christianity in China, the demands of the law are stressed, while the freedom of the gospel is grossly undervalued. 316NOW’s professors find some of their greatest joy in helping Chinese church leaders fully appreciate God’s grace. Even more joy comes when those leaders share what the Spirit taught them with others.

What you can do: Pray for these Christian leaders. Then pray that God uses them to spread the pure gospel to that vast land.
