NEWS//Muslim genocide in China
Radio Free Asia (RFA) reports that "hospitals in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) were forced to abort and kill babies born in excess of family planning limits or who were in utero less than three years after the mother’s previous birth, according to a Uyghur obstetrician and other sources."
RFA quotes Hasiyet Abdulla, who worked in multiple hospitals in Xinjiang over the course of 15 years. She now lives in Turkey.
“Every hospital had a family-planning unit that was responsible for implementation—who had how many kids, when they’d given birth to them—they tracked all of this.”
“The regulations were so strict: there had to be three or four years between children. There were babies born at nine months who we killed after inducing labor. They did that in the maternity wards, because those were the orders.”
Abdulla told RFA that hospital family-planning units carried out the operations, including for women who were “eight and nine months pregnant,” adding that in some cases, medical staff would “even kill the babies after they’d been born…"
The Daily Caller quotes her as saying, "They wouldn’t give the baby to the parents — they kill the babies when they’re born,”
A “draconian police state”
Dr. Joanne Smith Finley, a senior lecturer in Chinese studies at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom told AP, “It’s not an immediate, shocking, mass-killing-on-the-spot-type genocide, but it’s a slow, painful, creeping genocide…. [It's a] direct means of genetically reducing the Uyghur population.”
Adrian Zenz, senior fellow in China Studies at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, recently published a report that extensively documents evidence of the appalling methods the CCP is using to suppress the growth of the Uyghur population. Zenz says:
Intrauterine contraceptive devices, sterilizations, and forced family separations: since a sweeping crackdown starting in late 2016 transformed Xinjiang into a draconian police state, witness accounts of intrusive state interference into reproductive autonomy have become ubiquitous. While state control over reproduction has long been a common part of the birth control regime in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), the situation in Xinjiang has become especially severe following a policy of mass internment initiated in early 2017 (China Brief, September 21, 2017) by officials of the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

UPDATE: September 17, 2020 — A doctor says she participated in Uyghur genocide
ITV has published an interview with a Uyghur doctor who says she “participated in 500 to 600 operations that included abortions and removing women’s wombs. The doctor said that her actions, which included killing infants right after they were born, were part of how the Chinese government is conducting a Uyghur genocide.”
