MINISTRY//Serving as best we can - Part 2

Our online teachers strive to share sound Bible instruction with their students. Often, however, God has more blessings to offer than a stronger faith. One of our teachers writes about two students.

Jennifer started online classes with her son Albert, 18. Albert has served as her interpreter.  (Note: these are not the students’ real names.)

Over the months, Jennifer and Albert have grown in their faith in Jesus. They have also deepened their relationship with each other.

Albert does more than translate the materials for his mother. Each lesson he tells me his mother's expressions of faith and love for her Savior. Sometimes speaks about his own faith in Jesus. He asks their questions. He expresses their appreciation.

Recently, Albert said to me, “We want you to know that mom and I have bonded through this class." He also mentioned, “My mom has started to teach her mother about Jesus over Skype." And he pleaded, “Please pray for John (another son) as he searches for a new job. We don’t want him to just find a job. We want it to be a job that will help him stay connected to Jesus."

The Spirit uses 316NOW's teachers to do more than share information about the Bible. He changes hearts and transforms lives. He changes students into teachers.

What you can do: Thank the Holy Spirit for using 316NOW's Bible institute to teach Bible truths, to grow disciples, and to expand his kingdom in China. Jennifer and Albert would also appreciate your prayers for John.
