MINISTRY//More than teachers

Our 316NOW team focuses on helping Christians in China to grow in their faith. But, since we love our students for Jesus, we become the Savior's hands beyond our classrooms. 

One of our students writes,

My husband and I were on the verge of breaking up over our son's education. That's when God sent someone from 316NOW to teach my son.

My son had been very unruly. But starting with his first conversation with his teacher, he was deeply attracted by his words of love and wisdom. Now he has a class on Genesis with his teacher once a week. Even better, his behavior has changed and our home life is much improved.

In addition to taking Bible institute classes, this student and her husband have received marriage counseling through 316NOW.

"We are very grateful," she says. "Thank God for sending a loving teacher to save my 14-year-old boy and my relationship with my husband."

What you can do: Helping Christians work through personal issues is challenging in face-to-face situations. Counseling online and across cultures is much more challenging. Ask the Spirit for his assistance in our teaching, our counseling, and in all the all other ways he gives us to proclaim grace across China NOW.
