MINISTRY//Pray for Brother Bo

Brother Bo asks for your prayers.

China has massive "super-cities." But it also has massive expanses of territory that are sparsely populated. In some of those areas, family groups may be separated from each other by 20 miles or more.

Among the people who live in these areas are Christians. Because the Christian population there is thinly distributed, gathering regularly for worship and fellowship is impossible. Yet, these Christian herdsmen and their families have a great need to stay close to the Savior by staying close to his Word. They also need the spiritual stamina that will equip them to stand against the heretical teachings that rob most Christians in China of grace's eternal security.

The Holy Spirit has prompted Brother Bo to assist these believers in their spiritual growth. Brother Bo is a student in 316NOW's Bible institute. But he is more than a student. He yearns to share what he has learned. His vision is to create a team of Christians who will regularly visit this area of China. His team would help these small clans learn the Bible and grow in their faith in God's love in Jesus.

The ministry this team would do requires specially gifted Christians who have hearts that are willing to make great sacrifices to do this work.

What you can do: Our God is greater than any barriers that seem to stand in the way of spreading the gospel. Ask our infinite God to create ways to reach out to these widely scattered Christians and to their widely scattered neighbors. Thank him for Brother Bo and pray for this brother's continued zeal to spread the gospel.
