MINISTRY//Mustard seeds in China

I learned last week that there is a WeChat group in China for people who are interested in Luther and Lutheranism. WeChat is a social media platform that is somewhat similar to Facebook -- although it has many more capabilities.

Someone in that group posted: "Thank God that the Lutheranism we have in China is Confessional Lutheranism, not liberal Lutheranism."

Talk about music to the ears of everyone involved in 316NOW's ministry!

Confessional Lutherans in China total an insignificant number compared to China's population of over 1.4 billion souls. But the testimony of the Lutheran Confessions is reaching more people each day. And gratitude for the clear explanation of the gospel that the Confessions offer is celebrated by more people each day.

The Savior's description of the Church as a mustard seed that grows into a tree large enough for birds to roost is being lived out in China. How grateful we are that the Spirit is allowing 316NOW -- and you -- to have a role in that growth.

What you can do: Thank the Spirit for the multitude of ways he is exposing Chinese souls to accurate Bible teaching. Ask him to continue to use 316NOW and other Confessional Lutheran groups to sow the seeds of the gospel to more in China every day.
