MINISTRY//Heartened by your prayers

Over the last two weeks, our 316NOW Team has been encouraged by the knowledge that tens of thousands of prayers have been offered during 15 Days of Prayer for souls in China, for our ministry there, and for the Church in China.

A number of our Christian brothers and sisters in the U.S. kindly emailed us to inform us of their prayers. What a joy to hear from them. Here are four examples.

• I have been using the prayer sheet you sent to me for the 15 Days of Prayer. They definitely need our prayers. It's sad that a government feels it's necessary to restrict religion. Those Chinese Christians will overcome. We will keep praying for them.

• God doesn’t listen to governments. He listens to prayers.

• We have been following some of this stuff online. Prayers will continue at our breakfast table until my dying breath. As we mention various names and countries, specific pictures and needs flash through my mind. Tell your friends that they have not been forgotten!

• Praying fervently for 316NOW and for the precious people of China.
