It was a bit of a whirlwind trip, but what a joy!

Mission festival 

Last weekend I traveled from the Milwaukee area to Novi, Michigan (located on the western edge of greater Detroit) for a mission festival at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. 

What a privilege to preach a sermon there that not only talked about God's grace in Jesus and about our grace across China NOW ministry but also about the privilege every Christian has to share God's grace.  And what a joy to meet Christians for whom sharing God's love in Jesus is an essential component to their ministry.

Good Shepherd did a number of thoughtful things for their mission festival. The church's worship service was enhanced by a brass ensemble. The 316NOW presentation following the service was enhanced with a table filled with fruits and breakfast treats. Someone arranged for a display table filled with items from China. The tables were decorated with flowers and small Chinese flags.

316NOW gives a loud shout-out to Good Shepherd congregation. Thanks for allowing us to tell our story.
