Thanks for your help!

We asked for your advice on how to improve our website. (See that blog post.) You jumped in with worthy suggestions. Here are a number of ideas we heard:

• "On the Give NOW page, take advantage of 316NOW's branding by suggesting gifts based on "316" (e.g., $31.16, $316)."

  • We thought this was worth a test. Check out our revised GIVE NOW page.

• "Explain that all the media on the website is used by permission of the copyright holder."

  • We have always honored copyright restrictions. The website now says we honor copyright rules at the bottom of each page.

• "Improve the monthly prayer calendar by including prayer suggestions about raising up volunteer workers and staff."

  • This is an important adjustment to the calendar. You can view the updated calendar here.

• "Websites are never done. Keeping them up-to-date requires constant attention. This is hard, especially with volunteer staff. But it's worth the effort. Thanks for all you do."

  • Our website staff is always finding things to improve. Thanks for the encouragement.

• "Use more photos that feature our students."

  • We'd love to do this. However, we cannot use photos of the Christians we work with in China. It would expose them to government scrutiny. We can, however, use carefully cropped photos of Christians at worship and Bible study.

  • We can use photos that show Chinese people enjoying their country and its sights.
