MINISTRY / Love one another

A remarkable, Christ-empowered fellowship exists among our students.

Love one another

Last winter one of our students died of leukemia. For months before, she had received treatment in a hospital located in a large urban center. The hospital was hours away from her home.

During that time, our students who lived in the city where she received treatment regularly visited her and shared God’s promises with her. They also reached out to her far-away family over the internet and by traveling to visit her family. Even more important, these believers held this sister in continuing prayer.

After the sister died, her family invited leaders of the church that cared for her in the hospital to conduct the funeral. At the funeral, her family and friends heard a clear message about God’s grace in Jesus.

Love comes before comfort

Not all of our students know each other, but those that do, support each other. Even when they are separated by hundreds of miles. Often God’s grace prompts them to venture far out of their comfort zones to live out the love they have in Jesus.

316NOW strives not only to teach God’s Word clearly. We strive to encourage our students to live out their appreciation for God’s grace.
