MINISTRY / Busy making friends

316NOW's liaison* has been busy.

He just returned from traveling to visit groups of our students. This was the first time he met most of these Christians. While he was with them, he introduced them to a Bible information course they can use to train new Christians in the basics of faith in Jesus. He also helped them take the next steps toward becoming Confessional Lutheran house churches.

One of 316NOW's goals is to help create a network of small house churches across China. This network will share our determination to teach God's Word clearly and to introduce more people to Jesus. Our liaison has a key role in enabling us achieve that goal.

Personal relationships are important in our culture when we witness to others, as well as in business and social settings. Personal relationships are much more important in Chinese culture.

Our liaison provides a personal connection between 316NOW and our students and potential students. Because of his work, we continue to see growing numbers of Christians in our online Bible institute.
