Barnabas, our liaison with our Chinese friends and students, is back home after three weeks of travel for 316NOW to the United States and other places.

An answer to prayer

316NOW's leaders are especially grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Barnabas during his time here. He is a man of remarkable gifts, admirable dedication to God's work, and laudable appreciation for God's grace. He is the answer to our prayers for a liaison.

A reason for prayer

I asked Barnabas what should be on our prayer list for him. He answered, ask the Spirit to:

• Bring the gospel to more people in China.

• Empower him to equip growing numbers of Chinese Christians as church leaders.

• Raise up a hedge of protection around him as he proclaims God's grace in a country that has declared his ministry is illegal.

I suggest one more petition. Pray for Barnabas' family. They have been a firm foundation for his ministry and a source of encouragement for all he does for the gospel.

Join me in praying for Barnabas now that he is back home and back at work as 316NOW's ambassador in China.
