Our New Presentation

 Because of all the changes to our ministry that the pandemic years brought, we are updating our official video presentation to congregations, schools, and groups. Presentation Update.

 Who can engage us to make a presentation?

 Typically, this responsibility will be handled by a called worker or church leader who schedules events for their congregation. Often it is the pastor who contacts us and invites us to share our ministry overview with the whole congregation or a selected group within the congregation. For a school, it is usually the principal who sets this up. However, any member can ask their church leaders to schedule one of our speakers to come.

 Who makes the presentation at a church or school?

 If a church or school is within reasonable driving distance from southeastern Wisconsin, the Executive Director or one of the divisional Administrators will make the presentation. If a church or school is in a different part of the country, we will first seek out one of our volunteers who may live close enough to make the presentation in person. And if we can’t come directly, we will offer an online webinar which can be hosted at church or viewed by guests on their own devices from home.

 What is the presentation about?

The 316NOW presentation for congregations is a video-assisted discussion of our mission in China, to China, and with Chinese people living in other parts of the world. Designed to fill a Sunday morning Bible Study time slot, this informative 45-minute tour offers several video segments that describe where and how our ministry is carried out. The presenter will periodically pause the video to answer any questions that might arise. We will also bring a display and printed materials.

 The 316NOW presentation for schools can be tailored to whatever time is available. Adapted for children, it does not go quite as deep into the structure of our efforts but concentrates on the joy of this cross-cultural sharing of the gospel, for the recipients as well as for those who bring the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus.
