Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable his judgments,

and his paths beyond tracing out! (Romans 11:33).

Prayers are needed for two sisters

Two women with a long history of serving 316NOW in China are battling serious illnesses. One has diminishing eyesight. Her eyesight issues have curtailed her ability to spend time in front of a computer screen; that includes serving as an interpreter for our online classes. The other is dealing with a dangerous disease in her organs. She was hospitalized again shortly after Easter. The house church she was a part of had met at her house for several years; she was the glue that held that group together and inspired it to share the gospel across its province.

Why God, in his wisdom and knowledge, would allow illness to cut deeply into the ministry these two women had offered his kingdom is hard to understand. "His paths are beyond tracing out," but we know enough of the Lord's unfathomable love to trust his paths. The God who came to our planet to win forgiveness for all our sins cannot possibly bring harm into our lives or into his Church.

For that reason, we invite you to honor these Christian sisters’ requests that we pray for them. "Please intercede for my body and ask God to have mercy and healing. Please pray for God's mercy and healing,” one asks. The other also asks for prayers and reminds us we can trust God's love because "Easter is not just for one day or one month. We celebrate Easter every day in our life. It's such a great blessing that Jesus has given us."
