Board meeting highlights #1: Mainland China Ministry

Through our liaison in China, 316NOW is forging a ministry partnership with three other Confessional Lutheran groups that are led by Chinese Christians.

One group has existed for nearly thirteen years. It is comprised of more than 20 house churches with 350 members. Another group has baptized over 80 people in the last two years and is raising up two men as seminary-trained pastors. The third group has grown from 100 members to 300 members between a dozen house churches in two cities.

Continuing collaboration

Our liaison writes, "We can see all of these wonderful God-allowed successes… have been accomplished with cooperation. And this time they are very hopeful that 316NOW can give more help to make our ministries work better together. On behalf of 316NOW, I will do the liaison work for these three ministries for evangelism, baptism, and close communion. Under the Spirit's direction, our ministries, as well as the greater Lutheran Church in China, will continue to collaborate and liaise with each other in a loving and secure way."
