Ministry / A Very Special Thank You
This edition of our ministry blog is written to say, “Thank you so very much!” to Pastor Jim Aderman for his long-term volunteer service at 316NOW, particularly for blogs, devotions, and news coverage.
A leader with the complete package of communication skills
As our organization grew, so did many of the hats that Pastor Aderman wore through the years. He designed and developed the website. He wrote and posted the ministry blogs. He managed the subscriptions for our domains, supervised our web page provider, and created nearly every detail of our communications system. He determined the schedule for our news and blogs and recruited volunteers to write devotions and post news articles.
First of all, it took foresight and vision to plan and accomplish these tasks. Secondly, it took hours upon hours to evaluate the processes, set them in motion, and then maintain them, in addition to writing and editing. These are high-level skills which were acquired over a lifetime and then offered freely to the ministry of 316NOW — to spread of the gospel among Chinese people as frequently and as far as possible.
Now moving to other ministries
Jim is now stepping away from some of these major roles for us. He will continue to advise and consult in the areas of Mission Advancement and Expatriate outreach. The Lord needs his gifts in other missions and other ministries. We pray that he may continue to serve effectively and efficiently for many years to come.
We are grateful to the Lord for your role model
It is appropriate then that we acknowledge with deep gratitude what Pastor Jim Aderman has done for our non-profit, WELS affiliate world mission effort.
Thanks, Jim, for your tenacity and strategic planning to grow 316NOW, to grow with all of us in proclaiming the good news of forgiveness to the Chinese world.
Thanks, Jim, for your huge investment of time, energy, and talents for all these years.
Thanks, Jim, for loving the Lord and demonstrating that love with consistent, commanding, and heartfelt desire.
Thanks, Jim, for loving the lost and for your unflagging zeal to share eternity with them by teaching and preaching Jesus as our savior and living earnestly for him.
We have been blessed by your service
You have been faithful, mostly behind the scenes, for so long that we can hardly conceive how this ministry moves forward without you. You will be missed. But we also know how much we have been blessed through your service. Your closing salutation has long been Blessings are ours in Jesus.
Indeed!
