Ministry / New Digital Connections
A Digital Outreach
316NOW operates online in most areas of our ministry. Our students study the Bible online with digital copies and digital communication tools. All but a few of our meetings are conducted through internet connections. We share emails regularly. Our business is handled through digital forms and signatures. Videos are accessed and seen through the web.
Recently we have begun the process of updating our resources and then sharing them with our students and supporters. This is a quick summary of how that is taking place during the next few months.
Communication Tools
· Bible Study Presentation – our leaders and coordinators (mostly volunteer pastors) have visited a film studio to create an updated video presentation which is now available for congregations, schools, and groups. Usually, one of our administrators will share this at a Bible Study, Mission Festival, school or group gathering, often along with a sermon about mission work. This presentation has four segments so that the presenter can stop, share stories or insights, and answer questions. It is designed to fit into a Sunday morning study timeslot of about 45 minutes. We can also present through internet if that fits your situation or calendar best. To request a presentation contact Pastor Mark Wagner at markwagner@316NOW.org or learn more at Presentation.
· Grace Bible Institute – We are revising our website, improving our courses (available in both Mandarin and English), and adding fresh content. We have 18 pastors on our faculty who can offer nearly 40 courses of study in various student pathways. For more information about this, please email our Education Administrator, Pastor Bob Balza at robert.balza@gmail.com or see our website information for Grace Bible Institute.
· Expatriate Outreach – This includes ads through Facebook and Google to attract Mandarin speaking students and to raise up house church leaders in North America. We will soon be adding several new videos by one of our teaching pastors (in Mandarin, with sub-titles). For more information about this, please email our Expat Administrator, Pastor James Enderle at james.enderle@mzls.org.
· 15 Days of Prayer – This emphasis event parallels the Chinese New Year celebration which begins January 29, 2025. This is a marvelous time to seek the Lord’s blessing on all Asian ministries and especially our work among the Chinese as we pray intensely for new opportunities. Pages include Chinese New Year History, Posters, Prayer Guides, Promotion Ideas, Worship Prayers, and Social Media downloads available through our website at our 15DoP HomePage. (Scroll to the bottom for the various pages.)
Pray that these continuing digital efforts can gain traction among many more in the near future!
