316NOW: Proclaiming grace across China
For American Christians, it's hard to imagine the challenges Chinese Christians face. Their government actively discourages faith in Jesus. Their culture views Christianity as a foreign religion. Nextdoor neighbors may report them to the police.
How might they be encouraged in their relationship with Jesus? How might the Chinese people discover the grace of God? That’s where we come in. And you can partner with us.
Our name, 316NOW, reminds us of Jesus' promise in John 3:16 that God loved all people so much he sent his Son to forgive them and give them eternal life. The word NOW focuses on the urgency of sharing that message with all people, particularly the Chinese people.
This is who we are. 316NOW. Committed to proclaiming grace across China NOW.
We proclaim grace across China NOW through our
Outreach to expatriate Chinese Christians that offers them training at our Bible institute. This training will prepare them for kingdom service when they return to China.
The online Bible institute that provides church leaders in China with training in the Scriptures they can put to use in their congregations and communities.
Mentoring and Consulting Ministries that train church workers to become Confessional Lutherans.
The Sheep to Lambs program that provides Christian parents with teaching materials they can use to instruct their families. In addition, we provide family and marriage resources.
The marriage and family ministry that assists churches and church leaders in developing gospel-centered homes.
Teaching trips to China that allow our faculty to personally encourage students. (China is currently prohibiting our trips. As soon as possible, our travels to China will begin again.)
